-M. Newton

“It was an amazing experience and taught me so much about the psychology of customers…”

-B. Small, Northport High School Alumni & Sports Hall of Fame, Financial Industry

“It was an opportunity to execute certain tasks with high precision, develop a high level of reliability, take pride in the trust that was awarded to me and probably the most important was learning to have confidence to solve non-scripted problems, all in a team setting.”

-R. O’Sullivan, Northport High School Alumni, Vice President and Relationship Manager – Commercial Banking (California)

“All the experience I was given at Newton Shows, the training, the mentoring, the support, the flexibility and the opportunities has led me to where I am today.”

-J. Fraumeni-Roberts, Commack High School Alumni, Owner Cakeuccino

Though calling them employers does not do justice as the entire Newton family was more like mentors to me as I grew up in Northport Long Island. As a teenager to a single mom and one of six kids I easily could have slid through the cracks as I turned into a teenager but instead I was taken under the wing of both John and Mike Newton. Along with their father Lou they would pick me up along with a group of other teens who instead of hanging out in a local park were taken to a hustling Mid-Way to learn a trade. More than a trade actually life lessons that set me on a straight path that eventually led me to a thirty plus year career in law enforcement.

-M. Schoonmaker, Northport High School Alumni, Ret. Special Operations NYPD
